Skip Kimpel
Chief Technology Officer @4 Rivers
Skip Kimpel is a restaurant technology evangelist, an industry known thought leader in the food and beverage space and is currently the CIO with 4R Restaurant Group and the host of the hit podcast Tech Chef. Starting his experience in the food industry as the VP of IT at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Skip has worked with some of the country’s top thought leaders to find and tweak solutions that make restaurants more efficient and more profitable. He has spoken at many events across the country on subjects such as data, security, utilizing API’s, 3rd party delivery and most recently, drone delivery in the restaurant and hospitality space. Skip currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Restaurant Technology Network (RTN) as well as the Board of Directors for the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA). He is heavily involved with anything that is restaurant technology driven.
Kevin Pfab
Chief Technology Officer @Omnivore
Kevin Pfab joined Omnivore as a software engineer in 2014, and became Chief Technology Officer in 2019. He’s played a key role in scaling the development team and adding to Omnivore’s products as the company has grown. In the CTO role, he ensures the stability of Omnivore’s API and oversees the development of the company’s products. Pfab has been working with startup companies for the past 8 years. Prior to joining Omnivore, he co-founded EmergentOne, an API-generation platform that allows any company to easily create a custom API, with Omnivore founder Mike Taczak.
Jesse Gorin
Manager of Customer Experience @Omnivore
Jesse Gorin joined Omnivore in January of 2017. He currently manages the Customer Experience Team which oversees all of Omnivore’s restaurant merchants and application partners, ensuring each are successful and continue to grow. Before Omnivore, Jesse worked for NCR implementing the Aloha point of sale system followed by time at Revel point of sale helping to manage relationships with the API partners. He also spent 4+ years managing high profile restaurants in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, CA. Gorin is a graduate of Virginia Tech where he studied Business and Popular Culture.
